Handbuilt Candleholder – Inspired by the Ancient Samahram Rituals

At the heart of this piece is the sacred symbol of the Moon God Sin: a crescent resting atop a full moon. This emblem speaks to wholeness through change; a quiet reminder that in all your phases, you are complete.

Historical Note
Samahram, also known as Sumhuram, was an ancient port city on the coast of Dhofar, Oman (Modern day: Taqah). Established in the 1st century BCE and active for nearly 600 years, it served as a vital hub in the global frankincense trade. From its harbors, the finest Omani frankincense was exported to temples, markets and courts across Asia, Africa and Europe, making Samahram one of the most important trade centers of the ancient world.
